as I read about people being evicted from their homes in Sao Paolo Brazil

I was thinking about

Jair Bolsonaro

 and how he vetoed a bill to prevent this just like he is for all the indigenous people dying in the Amazon so they won't prevent the clear cutting of the whole Amazon. I think he's either as bad or worse than Trump. Probably worse for Brazil than Trump is for the U.S. and whole world.
But, these are the times we live in where Populists like Trump and Bolsonaro get everyone killed worldwide through coronavirus, or starvation or being evicted and everything that comes after.

So, I guess we already know that because of populist leaders like Trump and Bolsonaro that at least 250 million people are likely going to starve to death (or more) during the next 12 months in addition to all the people dying, dead or maimed from coronavirus worldwide already or soon to be this next year.

So, What we already know is that the coronavirus death toll of these times will be as bad as World War II and the Cold War combined as far as real deaths are concerned. Could this change?

I'm thinking it could get much better or much worse or both depending upon the country we are talking about.

But, one thing is sure. The world will never be again the one we knew last Christmas ever again.
