I think one has to go back to all previous pandemics and plagues and study the history of how people survived those times. I was watching the 4th season of "The Last Kingdom" on Netflix with my wife and they have something which they call "The Sickness" where you die of thirst from likely running from both ends until you die. They show people all drowned in a lake likely trying to hydrate by drinking water who have died there. They show people being burned (their bodies after they die). They believe it is "in the air" in otherwords "Airborn". They won't go into water where people have died. They try to avoid areas where people are sick and dying and the Queen's daughter gets sick with this and still lives somehow.
So, I think these episodes represent pretty well what happened then (as best as can be reconstructed from that era. Mass graves and mass burnings of bodies is how the people coped with "The Sickness".
So, I think it is learning from all the past pandemics that we will best survive this one worldwide too.
Unfortunately, the President and the people who follow him are all in denial and might die which is much more serious than it sounds because it will cause so many more deaths in the U.S. and around the world this "living in denial".
So, we live in very "SEVERE" times here in the U.S. and finding a way forward so you and your family can survive this has become very very serious to the extreme with a president basically "KILLING EVERYONE" with every thing he says ongoing.
So, believing the president regarding ANYTHING he says right now might be fatal to you and your families worldwide.
To the best of my ability I write about my experience of the Universe Past, Present and Future
