I don't think we are in a revolution, I think we are in a pandemic with many people not working because of it

If you are poor and don't have (every entertainment available on your massive Flat screen in the living room), revolution might seem like a good idea. (just so you can get out of the house) and have something to do other than stare at the wall or read books that are boring you. When I watched footage of demonstrations what I saw a lot of is what looked like "horny bored young people" which were exactly the kinds of people demonstrating in the late 1960s against the Viet Nam War because their friends from high school were dying in Viet Nam.

So, from my point of view all the demonstrations are very well or good but people's motivations are harder to make sense of right now.

What does make a lot of sense to me is that the unemployment rate of Black and Hispanic people is off the charts, so without drawing attention to themselves major segments might not have a place to live or food to feed themselves with.

So, I see the demonstrations as more of a "Hey! I'm alive and don't want to starve to death during the coronavirus because my job as a dishwasher at the restaurant is gone and I don't want to die!" And the other thing is "I'm young and really horny and my college or high school closed and I'm lonely".

This is what I see as someone who actually lived through all the demonstrations and people being beat up by Cops nationwide during the 1960s and early 1970s.

I don't see this as a revolution at all but as people who don't want to die in really really bad times which are the worst bad times of my lifetime and I'm already 72 so I've really seen a lot of stuff worldwide during all these years.
