How does that work?
It works fine for me because I didn't add Tibetan Buddhism practices that I received from Tibetan Lamas here in the U.S. and India and Nepal until I was in my mid 30s. So, I slowly evolved into who I am now. I was always clairvoyant and I could always see the future. But, it was good that I had a spiritual discipline to be clairvoyant and a Seer within. Everyone need their yoga, their discipline and I chose to become a Householder Yogi and was inspired by Yogananda's teacher Lahiri Mayasaya from the book Autobiography of a Yogi by Paramahanza Yogananda. Yogananda's Paramguru Babaji also inspired me a lot too.
So, starting out a mystic to begin with my motto always was: "God is where you find, him, her, the being". So, it was relatively easy to go wherever God sent me because God is everywhere "inside me, inside you, everywhere all the time".
"There is no place or time that God is not there!"
This is how a mystic experiences all life in the universe. God is present 24 hours a day and every moment is sacred. The universe is my church and all time and space and being are my church as a mystic. There is no place that God is not there also.
How did I become also a Tibetan Buddhist?
This is a longer story than I have time to write about right now.
But, I can say that I realized that being a Christian was also a lot about being racist and a power tripper and this harmed life all around us in various ways. It wasn't that people who were Christian wanted to harm others, it is that to some degree this harm is built into the way most people practice Christianity. So, I looked for a path that allowed me to better have compassion for all life in the past, present and future and Tibetan Buddhism did this for me. What I experienced through Tibetan Buddhism was and is infinite compassion for all life in the past, present and future of the entire universe and an equanimity not based upon size or power with all beings great and small.
It's sort of like in "Men in Black" when they said, "Size means nothing because a universe or a galaxy can be the size of a marble hung around a cat's neck."
Tibetan Buddhism when added to Mystical Christianity is powerful in an unlimited and infinite way! This has been my personal experience.
By God's Grace
To the best of my ability I write about my experience of the Universe Past, Present and Future
