Many people might not have believed him but this is what appears to be happening. The problem as I see it is the common sense of the average person is not protecting most people right now especially in states like Florida, Arizona, Texas and others. We are still seeing increases in cases in 40 states out of 50 nationwide.
The problem is that a spike in cases in one area also helps cause a spike in cases in other areas as people are traveling all over the place during the summer months on vacations which is spreading the virus from very infected areas to less infected and more remote areas.
I thought Dr. Fauci today was interesting in what he said which was that we are still in the first wave of this virus. We shouldn't be worrying about the 2nd wave yet because we are still in the first wave right now. Unless we deal with right now properly the 2nd wave is going to be even more horrendous than what we are dealing with now nationwide in the fall and winter.
