Mt. Shasta city is sort of a normal weekend you might see any summer here now. It's not what it usually is 4th of July weekend because the parade and fireworks and other activities like the Fun Walk Run have all been cancelled. My wife still bought the fun run and walk T-Shirts because the funding helps the area and hopefully they will be able to do the fun walk Run next year and the parade and fireworks too (Don't know right now).
So, it's very different during coronavirus to be here the weekend of the 4th. Also, the road stayed closed from Bunny Flats up to Panther Meadows and up to where they old ski lodge used to be when I was a child. But, it's still nice being here visiting friends and some relatives are coming south from Portland to meet us here. The temperature today was about 81 degrees which is a really nice temperature for the area to be in. Everything is really green here and nice with meadows green and Wild Canadian geese swimming in streams and ponds everywhere which is nice too. Haven't been up to Castle Lake yet but hope to in the next few days time.
To the best of my ability I write about my experience of the Universe Past, Present and Future
