Cookies are the worst for clogging up and slowing down your computer but most people don't know how to just clear cookies out of their computer. If you are on Chrome which is what I'm using right now here is an easy method to clear a lot of browsing data that most people don't really need and how you can make your computer run much faster.
However, if you are signed into one sight or another you will have to sign in again after you clear all the data and cookies.
Also, I wouldn't click any other ones but you see set up already or else if you are not an expert on computers you might have problems that are presently unforeseen depending upon what you click on in addition to the ones they already checked. But, for me, I only have to resign into any sites I was signed into before in order to have everything work properly on my computer. But, once again like if it is your parents computer ask them before you do this so you don't eliminate something they need for some purpose or another.
On a Chrome Browser go up to where is says History at the top of your site and click on that word now scroll down on the scroll to where it says "Show full history" and then click that. next click "clear browsing data." then click "clear data"
At this point it will take a few seconds or more to eliminate all the things you ask the computer to eliminate including a record of everywhere you have been since you owned your computer. Or if no one has done this ever on this computer it will eliminate all the sites you have visited every since anyone owned this computer as well. It also eliminates cookies and automatically signs you out of anything you were doing online. So, you have to sign on again to whatever you want to be signed into online again too.
This speeds up my computer so I tend to do this at the very least once a month to keep it running at top speed processing everything it processes much much faster.
Note: if you have never done this before it might take some time to eliminate all this data and cookies from your computer. However, when I do this once a month or more it usually takes 10 to 20 seconds to do this to have your computer running at top speed again.
Note; There is also a point where it says "Advanced" and you need to click on "Advanced" to continue just before you click on "Clear Data".
