Luckily in June I got my wife to spend a week at a friends guest house cabin on a meadow in Mt. Shasta and my wife realized how peaceful it was compared to where we live on the coast and wanted to spend more time there "AWAY FROM IT ALL!" So, we rented the cabin for a month which was relatively inexpensive compared to what I usually have been paying for hotel rooms up there about 1 week in 5 until the coronavirus hit here in the U.S.
So, our big treat this summer was not to feel stressed by anything but the heat and altitude and smoke from some of the fires.
But, generally speaking, this was a wonderful experience for my wife and I. She could get used to me not dying anymore (because of my new pacemaker that was put in in June and I could get used to the idea of not dying anymore and get used to my new life (which likely will add 10 to 30 years to my life like it has everyone else I know who got a pacemaker for their heart.
My wife's stepfather lived until age 98 and her biomom is still alive and clear headed at around 93 I believe still and both had pacemakers since their 70s. So, at now 72 I might see 80, 90 or 100 or more because of all this.
I have fully realized that the longer I live (as long as my mind is working well) it is better for all members of my family on many different levels. So, I'll try to stay alive as long as it's practical to continue to do so.
By God's Grace
