IN the 1950s Complexity was simpler but much more deadly

 If you were not considered "Normal" "Whatever that means" you were expected to self destruct (at the very least or your neighbor was expected to kill you and bury you in their backyard. It's still this way in some southern States by the way or out in the country everywhere.

So, it wasn't just black and brown people having problems staying alive and making a living in the 1950s it was everyone.

So, even as a young white boy I knew this was a dangerous place to live here in the U.S. Yes. It was a free country but that didn't mean staying alive was guaranteed. For example, you had to survive the Draft into the armed forces which drove crazy or killed outright many young men unsuited for various reasons to being treated badly and taught to kill for a living.

So, the point I'm trying to make here is that the "Normal" slot was very very narrow even for white people if they wanted to survive around their parents and relatives at all.

And for some people (especially Trump voters) it's still the 1950s where you might wind up buried in someone's back yard if they think you are different in any way.

And in case you didn't know this worldwide, a Trump voter is more likely to be carrying a firearm when you meet them or in their car or truck or motorcycle at the very least than anyone you are going to meet even today here in the U.S.

So, if you are from another country and someone has on a MAGA hat or Trump T-Shirt just remember they are more likely to shoot you if they don't like you than anyone else you are going to meet!
