Since I have relatives who live in Portland, Oregon I can get more information about all this than most people seem to be able to.
First of all, the shooter was Antifa but was also an American Veteran and soldier who was 48 years old and who had a 17 year old son in his life.
This is the story he told about the shooting incident. There were 600 Trump trucks from Clackamus, Oregon which is nearby Portland but more rural so there might be more Trump voters there. They came and sprayed the Anti-Trump Black Lives matter people with Bear Pepper Spray so they couldn't breathe and then shot paint balls at them and if you know anything about paint balls they can put an eye out if you don't have goggles on so this was potentially blinding at the very least and not a nice thing to do to peaceful demonstrators.
But, for some reason they attacked the shooter with knives and his black friend so he shot the leader and killed him.
Now that they killed the shooter they likely were under orders from Trump to do this so the truth could NOT come out. So, I'm trying to share the truth here because Trump's government has killed this man so he couldn't talk about the truth of what actually happened.
