Governments generally worldwide have been trashed (especially economically) by Coronavirus and presidents like Trump have wantonly killed their people just like the President of Brazil and Mexico kill their people with words. And in the case of Trump in addition to killing his people Trump has also fired an insurrection where governmental officials could have died and police and demonstrators actually did.
So, the engine of Free Enterprise and the fact that we are far away across and ocean from most countries that could actually damage us like Russia and China means once again we are one of the few nations still functioning quite well despite the 400,000 (almost) presently dead from coronavirus at a minimum.
The engine that got us to the moon is the same engine still available to save the whole world now, especially from an organization capacity.
So, there is NO TIME since World War II that the whole world needed the U.S. like the do now just like they needed Roosevelt then Truman and then Eisenhower to fully recover from all the bombings and deaths and rebuilding of their infrastructures.
So, we are in a position similar to after World war II except the war against Coronavirus is not over and possibly might not ever be completely worldwide.
So, for years to come likely because the whole world won't get vaccinated anytime soon new variants of Coronavirus are likely to continue killing some people worldwide simply because everyone likely cannot be vaccinated for about 5 years time even if all governments mandated vaccinations.
So, we will see how this all goes over the next 5 to 10 years or so.
Nonetheless, America is the one country that could literally "Save the world" from an organizational and humanitarian point of view. However, if we don't save our own country first we won't be able to do anything for anyone.
It's just like as being an individual adult. You cannot save your parents, children or friends unless you take care of yourself first on all levels (physically and psychologically and spiritually).
