 So, investing in Vaccines is the difference in all countries between success and failure on every economic level imaginable. 

It's also important to realize that the Coronavirus is just another effect caused by the 6th great extinction of species on earth. As specific species go extinct it causes pandemics like coronavirus to develop because certain species don't carry these diseases to humans. So, when those species go extinct other species move in to take their place who do carry diseases to humans and cause things like coronavirus and all its variants ongoing.

This then will tend to reduce human populations and possibly reduce the number of extinctions which might at some point in the near or far future create some sort of balance that human beings might live with and survive with.

However, if human populations continue to increase as they have the last few centuries human extinction is likely inevitable through worse and worse pandemics and increased Global Climate changes.
