I think it's important to say this:

It's true as of now we aren't going extinct as a race anytime soon. However, that doesn't mean that large amounts of people won't be dying in wars, insurrections, hurricanes, earthquakes, Tornadoes, wind and weather events worldwide, droughts etc.

Because from what I have seen looking into the future only 1 billion or less of us remain at the end of this century. So, the whole point here is that though we won't go extinct as a human race anytime soon we will greatly be reduced in numbers by the end of this century.

I'm not sure what that does to governments worldwide either. I just know as of now the human race makes it through this century and into the next one without going extinct.
