Maryland Gov. Larry Hogan, a Republican who has also called for Trump's resignation, said Sunday that the President is responsible for the siege at the Capitol, adding that he is "embarrassed and ashamed" of some GOP members of Congress who continue to support Trump after the deadly riot.

"There is no question in my mind that he was -- he was responsible for inciting this, this riotous mob. This was an insurrection," Hogan told Tapper on the same program Sunday. "You know, they stormed the Capitol, and threatened to kill the vice president and put the lives of people in danger. And he had a huge part, a huge role to play in that."

Maryland Gov. Larry Hogan, a Republican was desperately asked by one of Maryland's Representatives in Congress by phone for help because he and other Congress people (both Senators and Representatives) were being held captive in "Safe Rooms" likely in Congress to protect them from harm or death. Governor Hogan was prevented from sending help by the Pentagon for 1 1/2 hours until someone from the Pentagon authorized Governor Hogan's help.

So, Governor Hogan saw first hand how Trump refused to help Senators and Congress people not die including Senators and Representatives from Maryland that Represent Governor Hogan's State in Congress.

This shows how Trump put people in place in the Pentagon to purposefully not help those in Congress from not dying during this riot.
