One Reason that the U.S. always won wars in the past: Chain of Command structure

In the past, in other countries if someone shot the officer the soldiers all ran from battle. But, here in the U.S. we instituted Chain of Command because people in the U.S. tend to be better educated of all classes than other countries in the past. So, Chain of command could actually work. So, if a major dies the Captain assumes command, if the Captain dies the Lieutenant assumes command if the Lieutenant dies the Sargent assumes command, if the Sargent dies the Corporal assumes command, if the Corporal dies the Private First Class assumes command and so on and so on.

This is one of the main reasons how Americans have tended to win any war they have waged because of the education level and self discipline and Drive of the average American in Wartime.

Another reason that Americans tend to win wars is we have very dark wartime humor that allows us to make a joke of almost anything and persevere to victory. Being able to laugh at almost anything empowers soldiers to go through almost anything and win.
