We are having beautiful but very strange weather for this time of year

Though it's true if you are freezing to death and living in ice and snow you might be jealous of our experiences here in California it isn't normal and will be dangerous this summer because of fires if nothing changes before then.

For example, even near the Greater San Francisco Area on the coast it is already going to be 70 degrees today.

Though mt. Shasta is 50 which it's pretty warm for there right now too. as of almost 11 am Friday.

But, Santa Barbara for example is already 78 going to 80 degrees Fahrenheit

Los Angeles is presently 79 degrees going to 88 degrees.

San Diego is 78 going to 83 degrees today.

Palm Springs is 83 going to 87 today.

Woodland Hills is 82 going to 89.

and south of maybe Ukiah or Red Bluff or Williams we have about 10% to 20% of normal rainfall.

If nothing changes the fire season is likely going to be a disaster like last summer.

And if you look at drought graphs almost everything west of the Mississippi River is in drought right now, especially the whole southwest of the U.S.

I couldn't get it to load but here is a Link and  URL for Mainland U.S. and other places affiliated with the U.S.

None; D0 (Abnormally Dry); D1 (Moderate Drought); D2 (Severe Drought). D3 (Extreme Drought); D4 (Exceptional Drought); No Data. Drought Impacts ...
