This series reminds me of series like LOST and a few others in that there are more unknowns that anyone can usefully deal with. There was a series a few summers ago called "Under the Dome" which also reminds me of this one. It's a series when you get sucked into it you kind of want to know what happens next because everything isn't going to make sense and everything is kind of crazy. But, you know, humans get bored (especially during covid) and want to think like they are playing chess which this kind of a series allows in speculating what is going to happen next.
