Blue collar thinking is much more regarding Life and Death more than anything else. We had a way of talking about this as Blue Collar is where the rubber meets the road. Saying that blue collar is where the rubber meets the road is likely the best indication of where blue collar people are. They are barely between life and death as blue collar people. Life and death.
White collar thinking is far more theoretical and less practical generally speaking. There is a different way you have to think to be a white collar worker. Is it better than blue collar thinking? Not necessarily simply because theories (rather than practicality) can get you into a lot of difficulties. So, the white collar way of thinking creates new problems to deal with. However, generally it is not as paranoid and prone to conspiracy theories like Blue collar thinking tends to be.
Why is this?
It's because generally blue collar people have never been to college for one reason or another so they become vulnerable to crazy ideas if they are not careful. People with too many unknowns because of a lack of general education can be very vulnerable in certain ways but not generally in other ways.
So, is white collar thinking better than Blue collar thinking?
I would say being raised blue collar and carefully moving into white collar thinking without losing your "where the rubber meets the road" sensibilities likely would be best.
Both white collar thinking and blue collar thinking have many inherent problems but since I have mastered both ways of thinking I can attest to this.
I started out in blue collar thinking with my parents and then moved in High School and college into White collar thinking but I didn't forget the common sense survival approach of a blue collar upbringing.
This saved my life many times along the way.
