I'm not sure about electrical coronas in hybrids and Electric vehicles but they also could contribute to cataracts too over time. Also, wearing sun glasses also helps protect the eyes from cataracts and macular degeneration in the eyes when you are spending a lot of time outside either working or playing in your lives too while traveling the world.
So, bendable lead shielding would be best between passengers of a hybrid car or electric car. Most people haven't installed this yet because they just might not be aware of it. But, when you have to own a hybrid or electric vehicle you need lead shielding between you and all generating or electric motor electrical corona sources (especially for your children to be safe long term). IT would be best to have some sort of fabric covering the lead though because lead itself could be toxic like if a child licked it or gnawed on it or something like that too.
