Even I don't think vaccines are the ONLY answer. However, to the human race right now it appears to be the ONLY PORT IN THE STORM.
The alternative often is maiming or death especially if you are over 30 or have any health issues at any age.
So, the "ANY PORT IN THE STORM" motto of ancient sailors is a good one here now.

Your best bet is a vaccination. It's like Dr. Sangay Gupta recently said: "Get vaccinated or get covid".
This is maybe the most realistic assessment of what is going on right now worldwide.
