Knowing that this likely will harm Biden politically (which is why Trump didn't end the war because he didn't have full courage to do that) like Biden did.

When you are an older person like Biden you view human lives differently, especially after losing his soldier son like he did. Death is very real to Biden after losing his first wife in a car accident and I believe a daughter too? Yes.
