Sending children into space isn't a good idea because it will sterilize them so they never can have children

 I suppose if you NEVER plan to have children or have the option of having children and are okay with that I suppose then go for it.

However, just remember just going into space for a few minutes will sterilize you because of the Cosmic Rays that will sterilize you pretty quickly.

This is why they recommend astronauts all have their children BEFORE they go into space.
