By having a January 6th News Conference in Mar a Lago in Florida Trump ONLY demonstrates to the world how delusional he has always been. It's true the vaccines we have are mostly because he made these vaccines happen so you have to see him as one of the most paradoxical figures in American History so far.
I tend to see him as a Benedict Arnold in some ways in that he helped us and then betrayed us too. But, in the end if Benedict Arnold had stayed in the U.S. after the Revolutionary war he would have been hung.
It's moving in that direction for Trump now too. I don't think he will ever be hung but he might have to leave the country to not go to jail for dereliction of Duty as a president on January 6th the way things are moving now. His legal culpability in the deaths and injuries of the many causing the imprisonment of some of his supporters will likely make him leave the country to avoid prosecution and jail at some point.
