When I told my wife that some dinosaurs had belly buttons she agreed with me that the ones with belly buttons had to be more mammalian with placentas and nursed their young. But, she also said, "Some dinosaurs also were reptiles or birds or both. So likely some were mammalian like US and some were more reptilian or maybe like Birds too. This makes sense to me because if no dinosaurs were mammalian then where did primates come from as well as things like horses, cows, elk, deer, moose etc which are all mammalian?
