Writing

It's important to write about what you know about.

But, then again this is only really important if you are taking what you write public as in online or for money.

So, if you are only writing for yourself go have at it.

And even if you are putting stuff online and you really don't care what people think about your writing go for it on that level too.

For example, Even though I really love to write because it helps me understand myself and the world better, I often am not good at all about editing what I write. If I catch an incorrect spelling sometimes I will correct that spelling whether it is minutes hours or days or even years. But, I won't always change spellings or contextual errors for a variety of reasons. Why?

I find that when I write something often it takes on a life of it's own sort of watching one of your children grow up as they live longer and longer. So, I don't like to interfere with the ongoing growth of my children.

Also, when I first write something I am one person but each year and each day and even each minute we are changing.

For example, look how much all of us have changed since Covid in 2019 or how about the Ukraine War which from my point of view actually caused Putin to attack Ukraine in the first place because he had just too much time alone and isolated and not in touch with anyone or maybe anything useful either.

So, the point is when you write something you are one person and then you go through whatever you go through in life and then you slowly become other people along the way. And then your relationship to your (children) what you write or draw or write as music or sing changes too.

And this doesn't really matter if this is fiction or non-fiction either. It's all the same in a way.

By God's Grace
