48 degrees at 10 am in Santa Barbara with a low of 44 tonight

This is very cold for Santa Barbara any time of year because you are so far south this usually doesn't happen in the daytime with a temperature this low at 10 am. In the mountains around here that are above 1000 or 2000 feet there is likely some snow too. I woke up this morning and noticed that the wind had finally died down. It says the wind now is only about 7 mph which is pretty normal type of wind this near the ocean for any time of year.

Also, even though I didn't see it fall the ground is wet from the rain so I know it rained last night while i was asleep.

However, in places like Yucca Valley in the High desert of California it is supposed to snow today Thursday and part of Friday and Saturday too as well as next Wednesday.
