Wind is better today no longer at 40 or 50 miles per hour

The winds locally at least have died down to around 17 miles per hour so when You look outside you can see all the plants and trees moving but you aren't as worried about power outages and limbs or trees crashing into roads or houses as yesterday and last night. My wife called to say the power where we live on the Coast nearer to San Francisco was off for about 4 hours last night but went back on around 4 am so she is okay. I had told her that if the power went off and stayed off I would drive home then from Santa Barbara to make sure everything went smoothly for her. But, so far, that isn't necessary at least at this point. However, it's pretty cold for 11 am here in Santa Barbara at only 53 degrees.

at 11 am

Los Angeles 54 degrees Fahrenheit

San Diego 53 degrees

 Palm Springs 53 degrees

Sacramento 40 degrees

San Francisco 49 degrees

Redding 45 degrees

Mt. Shasta 33 degrees

Brrrr! (At least for California).
