Unless they planned on nuking us too this doesn't make any sense at all because we could easily do the same thing to them and then about one billion people would be freezing (or cooking) depending upon what time of year it was when this happened. It doesn't make any sense why they would hit the U.S. that hard unless they considered the U.S. Vulnerable because of Trump's insanity.
Yes. I presently believe that Trump's place in the primaries might cause China to attack the U.S. while everything is so confused here now because of Trump's ongoing lies and shennagans. So, maybe the biggest threat to the survival of our U.S. democracy is Trump himself (even if you consider that China is the one threatening us because of the perceived weakness of our nation because of Trump's insanity.
They likely wouldn't want Trump in as president except that it makes it easier for them to attack us if Trump is screwing things up like now with his insanity. So, maybe between now and the elections would be their primary target to take out our infrastructure. However, if they miscalculate then China is gone and that's it from American Nukes and other even worse weapons of war that the U.S. has access to.
