Going into space sterilizes everyone so they might have sex but not ever be able to reproduce ever again in their lives.
However, if you took frozen embryos in lead lined containers so Cosmic Rays wouldn't kill them like that sterilize all human beings in space, then if those frozen embryos were implanted in human females or put into artificial wombs on another planet then children might be born that could then reproduce on that planet because they weren't sterilized by Cosmic rays while traveling through space.
