What's interesting about this is most of our storms up until now have been Pineapple Express Atmospheric Rivers up until now this year. This will be one of the few Northern Storms that will come in cold enough to drop the snow levels to 3000 feet. So, it should be interesting as it rains and snows over a lot or most of the state and likely up into Oregon and further North this coming weekend.
Weather man also said something interesting: "Up to 6 feet of snow above 7000 feet in Altitude."
Another thing he said is this is likely to be the biggest snowstorm in several years to hit California.
