Of course learning to be sane and balanced helps a lot in accomplishing this task. However, it is my present belief that the people who "See" the potential futures also might change the potential futures to better ones.
Now, one way to look at this is every person has a different concept of what a "Better Future" might be.
And here is the rub in all of this because each of us will tend to protect our own families and friends because these are the people we are all closest to.
So, once again your "Tribe" of friends and families is who you will tend to save.
However, you usually cannot stop Global Climate change including storms or earthquakes or wars or battles. However, if you are really really lucky you might save the life or lives of those around you whether they are friends or relatives or both.
How do you save them?
By seeing the ways that they might die or be injured ahead of time and directing them in a different direction even if it is for a few seconds to minutes so they have a better future where they don't die.
All Deaths and maimings tend to be time related. In other words it is a confluence of events. So, if you alter any aspect of time in regard to these things lives can sometimes be saved if you have God's blessing in doing this.
