An interesting comment

I was listening to Morgan Freeman on a Late night show recently and he said something (paraphrased) like: "We are in the most serious situation here in the U.S. and the world since 1941."

Actually, I think I agree with him.

But, maybe for different reasons than you might think.

There are two really serious things beyond Trump that we are dealing with which is water (too much of it and too little of it) various places on earth.

The 2nd thing we are dealing with is Artificial intelligence which might save us from the water crisis worldwide.

However, then you have people like Trump and Netanyahu and Putin and maybe Xi who are hell bent on creating a 3rd world war.

If this 3rd world war we seem to be entering into gets any worse then the problems of only 50 percent enough water in the right places on earth to actually grow crops and feed people doesn't get solved.

And even if Artificial intelligence solves the ecological problems of water and hurricanes and winds and Tornadoes and earthquakes how do we then solve Artificial intelligence problems too?

So, yes. I believe we are in the most serious times since 1941 not just here in the U.S. but also worldwide.

However, it's likely worse now because Global Climate change wasn't happening then and Artificial intelligence hadn't been invented yet either.

So, it's likely 50-50 whether any human beings can actually survive the rest of this century the way things are presently going.

However, remember we also survived World War I and World War II and nuclear weapons and hydrogen bombs going off and everything else during the last 100 years.

So, maybe there's hope for us yet?

I hope so.
