Israel has NOT promised the U.S. or NATO not to blow up nuclear facilities in Iran. IF it does this on October 7th in revenge for the hostages that died who were mostly under 30 years of age this could and likely would be a problem for the whole world as the weapons Grade Plutonium has a half life of 25,000 years. So, it won't just be a problem for Iran and Israel as this radiation travels on the winds around the planet like it did in Chernobyl.
But, it's important to realize here that Chernobyl (as far as I know) did not contain weapons grade plutonium of the kind you will find in Iran. At the very least it would be a sort of dirty bomb of radiation that would kill everything down wind of it anywhere in Iran and wherever else it travels on the wind.
And because one particle of dust with radiation on it can kill a person over time (over a year or more in someone's lungs) you can imagine just how bad this could be for anyone downwind of wherever Israel blew up a nuclear facility in Iran.
