When I woke up the day at that time was sunny but after about an hour the fog came in again. It's sort of like the weather can't seem to fully make up it's mind lately what it's going to do. It was 55 last night and only 65 now but the deck was warm on my bare feet when I went outside for awhile in the last hour or so. But, I missed the sun window to be outside like I wanted to.
We took our house guest and our dog to the beaches nearby us yesterday because we live in a fairly beautiful ocean area about a mile from the ocean. We were able to go to a usually busy beach and be the ONLY people there for about 15 minutes before anyone else showed up which was nice. However, it was foggy and drizzling the whole time we were at the beach much like it can be in the winter.
When you start to get temperatures below about 55 degrees here you usually know that fall or winter or Halloween or Thanksgiving is nearby for this coastal area. However, it usually doesn't freeze almost ever on the coast so at it's coldest it might get down usually only to around 40 degrees during the winter with the Pacific Ocean right here next to us.
Inland it gets up to over 100 and regularly freezes inland but our range of temperatures are usually from about 40 degrees to 80 or 85 degrees year around because of the Pacific Ocean that goes across for 6000 miles of ocean which is the largest on earth here.
