Begin Chapter 3 The Next Morning
Captain Forward and Lieutenant Back joined Arcane and His Oneness for breakfast the next morning.
His Oneness: "How are you gentlemen this morning?"
Captain
Forward: "I think we are ready now for the journey and are as prepared
as we can presently be. I hope we can do some good for mankind and find a
way to keep them alive so they don't go extinct."
His Oneness: "Yes. Arcane has brought his Green Sphere here so we can begin. Do you have video cameras with you?
Captain Forward: "When we left the Hotel to save our lives we left our equipment there."
Arcane said, "Don't worry it's all still in your 4 wheel drive Jeep in the Throne room."
Captain Forward smiled: "It seems you gentlemen have thought of everything. Can we set up tripods inside the Green sphere?"
Arcane
said, "You won't need to do that. The Green Sphere is sentient and will
become your cameraman so to speak. You won't even have to hold the
cameras if you don't want to and you can just point the directions you
want it to be pointing. Or you could give it detailed verbal
instructions of what types of shots you want."
Captain Forward: "And so you are sure we won't be exposed to the virus and you are sure they won't see us?"
Arcane:
"Unless we want them to. For example, we might pretend to be Gods or
Saints to give them peace to send them on their way. It might comfort
them while they die."
Lieutenant Back: "Isn't that immoral?"
Arcane: "When people are dying they need all the comfort they can get. I have been in battle in wars and I know about this."
Lieutenant Back:"I'll take your word about all this because I know you are well over 1000 years old at this point in time.
Arcane said, "Actually in real time I'm much older than that."
Chills
went up the spines of the Captain and the Lieutenant when Arcane said
this. They really were dealing with "The Ancients here".
Captain Forward: "How far forward have you been in time, Arcane?"
Arcane:
"I was born on New Deva a mostly water planet as an amphibian descended
from Earth Stock primarily around 1 million years into the future."
Captain
Forward didn't really know what to do with this information. So he
said: "So you work for the Galaxy now. Did you always?"
Arcane was
quiet for a moment wondering how much to tell the officers. He finally
said, "I was called a Dragon of Compassion and was trained as a Priest
Scientist from age 6 because I have supernatural powers that go beyond
most other people even on my home planet. I came here to earth
originally 1 million years in the future and met Meridian who was a
planetary elder here then. HE gave me the Green sphere and helped me
defeat the planetary enemy of my people. But, because I saved my people I
had to break my vows and leave my home planet within 6 months. So, here
I am."
Captain Forward: "So, you sacrificed your own life on your planet so your planet could survive?"
Arcane: "Yes. I did something like you gentlemen are doing right now to save my own planet in a war with another planet."
Captain Forward: "So you identify with us because of this?"
Arcane: "Yes"
Captain Forward: "That's good. Because we need all the help we can get."
Arcane
motioned them to enter the Green Sphere. It seemed to grow larger to
accommodate them and chair like green mists came up out of the floor of
the sphere and TV view Screens appeared in the front as Arcane had
requested of the Green Sphere. The back packs of Camera Gear were there
too and a few sandwiches if they got hungry and water and other drinks
were there if they wanted also.
Arcane said, "Pick a city to visit first in the mid 2080s."
Captain Forward consulted with Lieutenant Back and they picked Mt. Shasta, California.
What location do you wish?" said Arcane.
Captain
Forward: Well. If you get us to the city we want to see if our ride
home is still there. We have to return it when we are done here. That's
part of the deal for us to be treated well when we return. I know we
could go home in this Green Sphere in an emergency but we would rather
return Eisenhower's Time space ship to mt. Shasta and to Klamath Falls
if possible.
Note: By the way, it's not still in a hanger at
Klamath Falls Airport anymore. It's been moved as of 2020 in this the
2nd timeline.
So, they were soon over Mt. Shasta and it looked like a Ghost town because they saw no one there.
Captain
Forward said to Lieutenant Back: "Don't we head down this road here to
get to the river. I sort of remember us walking up this road.
Lieutenant
Back: "Yes. There's the railroad tracks we crossed just before we
reached the main street in town and there's where we bought our Jeep. I
think if we follow the freeway south a little we can get to Canterra
Loop I think where we left the Saucer down by the Sacramento River which
comes out of Lake Siskiyou there."
So, they followed the officers
instructions and got to the Sacramento River and found much to their
astonishment a military implacement where they left the Flying saucer.
However, it looked like no one was there and it had also been abandoned.
There were also decomposing bodies wearing military uniforms there.
Captain Forward: "Shit! How did they know this is where we left the flying saucer?"
Arcane:
"They must have had your room bugged and they might have videos of me
too. So, they likely saw the videos of you being killed but the likely
also saw the videos of me coming before you were killed and rescuing you
too. I'll have to go back there and fix time.
His Oneness: "That
won't be necessary, Arcane. The Lemurian Time Guard is listening to this
conversation we are having and so they will take care of this so you
don't have to deal with it."
This creeped out the officers a little but Special ops like these always are a little unnerving to begin with.
Arcane said, "Thanks Your Holiness."
This was the first time the officers remembered hearing this time in relation to His Oneness.
Captain Forward Caught this and said, "Are you something like the Pope to your people?"
His
Oneness: "I guess I'm something like the Pope or the Dalai Lama to my
people and also a political leader all rolled into one. And also I am
the Time Lord of Earth for the Galactic Sentience who is the leader of
the Galaxy."
Captain Forward said, "Thank you for sharing that with us."
Captain
forward had a dial on his belt buckle that looked a little like a
dimmer switch so he turned it and the Eisenhower Time ship appeared to
them directly over the center of the river.
Arcane said, "Wow!
That was good thinking. They likely would have never believed it would
park in space in another dimension directly over the river to begin
with. This wouldn't have likely occurred to them that this was
possible!"
Captain Forward: "Yes. That's why we did it. Most
people aren't aware what these time ships can do on any level at all."
With this the Captain turned the dimmer switch and the saucer faded from
sight.
Captain Forward: "Did any satellite or person see this?"
His
Oneness: "Yes. But all will be made to forget what they saw today.
Besides most people who saw this won't be alive in a week or a month
from now because of the virus.
Arcane: "Is it okay if we stay here and fast forward 5 years to see what happens here?"
His Oneness: "It's okay with me.
So,
they did a 1 minute time lapse of the next 5 years to see what happened
at this location. Other than a few people looking bedraggled coming and
fishing for Rainbow Trout for food nothing bad happened during the next
5 years at this location. And one time a couple of lovers came and
visited at sunset and stayed the night there.
Arcane: "I want to go 5 more years into the future now. Is that okay with you?"
Captain
Forward felt more comfortable letting Arcane do this because he was not
happy about having to watch innocent people slowly die later today.
Arcane said after they had traveled 5 more years into the future to 2095: "Sphere! Locate the nearest humans still alive!"

miles down stream were people camped in a tent because they were
running out of food and were worried that they had fished all the rain
bow trout out of the river. That morning they saw a deer and the four in
the Sphere watched the people (three of them) a father, a mother and
their 5 year old child skin the deer, and take the deer brains and put
it in a pot to cure the hide to make clothes for their 5 year old to
survive better.
The Father said, "I don't know how long we can
survive here dear. All the people are dead that I know of in this town.
But, if we don't meet anyone and contract the virus we can survive as
long as we can find food to eat."
The wife said, "What about the markets in town? We could find canned goods there maybe?"
The
husband said, "Yes. But the markets might be contaminated with the
virus. It can hang in the air for days and others would be looking for
can goods if they are still alive too."
The wife said, "After we
make deer jerky with this deer meat and we have eaten it all promise me
we will go into town and try to find more food."
The husband: "I promise!"
Arcane
moved the time line forward until they had eaten all the deer jerky was
eaten. By this time there was a little snow on the ground and they
worried about the people freezing to death soon during the colder nights
of November especially.
The Wife said, "We need to go to the markets, husband like you promised."
Sadly the man knew this to be true. He must honor his vow to his wife and child.
So,
they walked to the main Store near the theater and hardware Store and
DMV. The husband said, "I'm going in alone. If you see anyone scream for
me and I'll come running out to defend you."
The husband walked
in and there were dead bodies there that looked like they had been
fighting over the food. However, they had left many cans of baked beans
and ham and beans and Spaghetti O's for the little one. He didn't have a
can opener but found one on the marked aisle lists to take with them.
He took as many cans as he could carry and put them in a shopping cart
that still had other canned items in it.
The problem with this
was that the shopping cart had been infected with someone carrying the
virus. So, over the next month the four in the Sphere watched the family
all die. First the Father died of the virus, then the mother and then
the child wandered into the river and drowned himself because he didn't
want to be alone and die alone. They watched his body wash down the
river into Shasta Dam."
At this point they had all grown attached to this family and the two officers were crying in grief.
Lieutenant
Back said to the group. "I can't think anything funny to say. I just
wish they all didn't have to die. They were all really nice people just
trying to survive."
The four looked sad at each other and Arcane
said, "Here's where we need to draw ourselves back from this and start
to think about this like a movie we saw. We never really knew these
people. They were people in a movie we saw. We loved them and we cried
and we got to know them like the characters in a movie. And now we must
move on because we are on a mission to prevent the extinction of
mankind."
The officers wiped the tears from their eyes and the group moved on.
Arcane: "Where should we go next?"
Captain Forward: "I have relatives in Switzerland. Let's go see if their village is still in existence."
Arcane: "Okay.'
So, they went there but everyone was already dead.
Captain Forward: "Well.That's depressing!"
Arcane
said to the Green sphere: "Sphere. Is there anyone human still alive on
earth besides us. A voice came out of the sphere and said in a woman's
voice like a stewardess on a plane and said: "You 4 are the last humans
alive on this timeline."
Arcane: "Captain Forward and Lieutenant Back, what do you want to do?
Captain Forward: "What do you think, Lieutenant?"
Lieutenant
Back: "I think watching that family die was enough for me today.
However, why don't we travel around the world and take pictures of
people soon after they died. We could ask the right date of the Sphere
to do that?"
Arcane: "Yes. We won't know any of these people. Even
if these people's ghosts show up in our dreams we didn't see any of
them alive so we won't have the connection like we had to the Mt. Shasta
Family.
So, the four of them took several hours worth of videos
of dead bodies at cities and parks around the world and in their homes.
Everyone was recently dead so they chose not to show bodies swollen up
in the process of decomposition or animals or birds eating bodies of the
dead and things like this even though everyone knows this is what
happens when no one is left to bury anyone in the end or no one is left
to cremate anyone in the end either. The last to die will always be
consumed by the Turkey Vultures, the Crows and all the carrion eaters
whether dogs or wolves or whatever lives near them that is hungry that
eats carrion.
They went to all continents to do this and when they
finished Captain Forward said: "I think we have enough now. I want to
go back to 1992 and throw up in my hotel room in Mt. Shasta or
something."
His Oneness: "Yes I think we all have had just about
enough death and dying for one day. We all want to survive this and stay
reasonable sane."
So, His Oneness and Arcane dropped off the
officers at the Time shape hovering over 1992. The officers decided to
leave the Jeep in Shambala so there was no evidence of it on earth that
could be found after their Pentagon experience. And so Arcane and His
Oneness would figure out what to do with it.
So, Finally, since
the officers needed a rest they went to the Tree House Hotel there in
Shasta in 1992 and got two rooms so they could take showers each in
their rooms and regroup. They said they would meet in the restaurant
there in Mt. Shasta or they would go to a nearby Restaurant if that one
wasn't open later.
They called their UNUS handlers and Arcane
showed up which didn't surprise Captain Forward at all because of their
training under the Alps since Arcane was head of the UNUS program there
in 1992.
They didn't have to rent a car because Arcane had already done that.
He said, "I've got a private government jet waiting at Redding airport for us. Are you guys checked out in a Lear jet?"
Captain Forward and Lieutenant Back said no. "How about you?"
Arcane smiled and said, "Yes. I can fly it. Do you guys want to be my co-pilots?"
Captain Forward said, "Why don't you take off and let us have a turn at the controls in the air?"
And then you can land it because we aren't trained for that plane we are used to fighter jets mostly."
But,
Arcane knew this would distract the men on their way back to the
Pentagon in Washington DC to have a Jet toy to play with. It would begin
the healing of their minds from all of this. This is the same type of
Aircraft that they flew back to Washington DC in.
