My father owned a Honda Trail 90 with a 2 range gearbox where you could literally go up anything slowly from 2 to 10 miles per hour. I was amazed that my cousin and I could literally drive up a butte in the desert up almost a 45 degree angle with this!
However, they no longer make this model with the 2 range gearbox (the high range goes to about 45 to 60 and the low range is mostly between about 2 to 15 miles per hour. So, it reminds me more of a 4 wheel drive with high and low range gear box like my Tundra which can basically go anywhere too at slow speeds like 1 or 2 miles per hour in the low range gearbox.
I have always loved this type of motorcycle ever since my father had his out in the desert. In fact, my cousin eventually bought this Honda 90 from my father but I was very sad to see it go even though I was happy my cousin had it after that to put on the back of his motorhome for himself and his wife and his kids.
