I've had almost a week now to slow down to Island Time here in Hawaii now with my family.
Sometimes, especially in mainland U.S. it seems like everyone is running around like chickens with their heads cut off, even though their heads are still attached. It is just too easy to get caught in real or perceived problems and to forget the precious quality of each moment of life.
When I almost died at age 50 I went from sort of a Middle aged crazy "Which comes from the realization starting around 37 to 45 that you are going to die" to realizing after almost dying for about 7 months that "Every moment is a blessing". Every moment that you spend breathing is a blessing. Every moment you look into a loved ones eyes or speak to them on the phone or walk or exercise with them is a blessing. Every moment you taste something wonderful in your mouth is wonderful. Every book you read that strikes your fancy is wonderful. Every good conversation is wonderful. Every moment is wonderful.
And all those many many wonderful moments are a constant blessing.
So, Every moment is a blessing.
The trick is to realize it.
To the best of my ability I write about my experience of the Universe Past, Present and Future
