The Art of Soaring: a book by Dolokhov and Gurangov.

This is the second part of an article I wrote last month (May) at this Blog site on this book.

I thought I would give you the very back page of the paperback: quote:

Buckle up! You're in for the ride of your life.

When first published, this book soard to the very top of the Russian bestseller lists. . . and stayed there for twelve months in a row-----all for good reason. Changing your life on the spot has never been so much fun! The everyday "magical" techniques offered here will amaze you with their simplicity and transformative power. The real life stories of financial success, healed personal relationships, and miracle cures are so captivating it's hard to put the book down!

With over a million readers, "The Art of Soaring" has become an instant favorite with yoga teachers and school kids, prominent businessmen and housewives, farmers and psychologists. It weaves together the practical wisdom and the world's spiritual traditions, the author's insights, hidden messages encoded in ancient folk tales, and a potent dose of humor-----enough to change your destiny and save the world.

And this may well be the last self-help book you'll actually need to read. . . because it actually works! Please enjoy and tell your neighbors: the outbursts of laughter about to shake your house are nothing to worry about. You're simply reading "The Art of Soaring". end quote.

This is a book my 21 year old daughter brought with her from Oregon. She inscribed it "Happy Birthday, Dad!" So she felt it is something I need to read. So far I really like the book because of its humor and attitude and practicality.
