Gmail giving people privacy fits

Here is the problem. If people actually read what they are signing when signing up for email through a Google Click into Gmail likely this wouldn't be happening. But, because of spam filters needed to filter out spam when you click on and create a Gmail account you are allowing them to go through any emails you compose or send automatically. But here is the kicker: Anyone at at other email account like hotmail, yahoo, Comcast or other email provider's email is read IF they receive an email from a Gmail account and reply to it. So, even without their permission click on Gmail their emails are being read too by Google. However, in some ways this is all pretty stupid because all providers of email services likely have been doing something like this ever since they all provided spam filters (which by the way don't really work if you looked at any of my email sites). 99% of the emails I get are not from anyone I know or even want to know.

So, out of desperation I Only usually text people with my phone and have stopped emailing except for emergencies or business that cannot easily be conducted other ways. Also, my kids prefer texts so they can answer them when they aren't busy. But, learning how to write texts so you don't endanger your friends and relatives by giving their exact locations takes a little time to learn as well. Because with texts you have to expect anyone can read them too.
