Here are the names of areas where people were hit with various kinds of gas in Syria on August 21st 2013.

The news is covering the biggest attack that day that killed 1429 people including 426 children. Also, in this one attack this is the minimum number of people who actually died in that single attack on August 21st.
With the new Phosgene attack in Northern Syria reported on today this means there have been a minimum of 13 attacks of chemical gases now since August 21st 2013 alone.
