There is an interesting segment about a man in New York City involved in Bee Keeping in the city. Recently bee keeping became legal there I think about 3 years ago. So now the best restaurants are putting bee hives on their roofs so they have honey for their customers. This idea is spreading now all over the world because of this. Because bees are in trouble all over the world from insecticides and herbicides which are killing them and making them vulnerable to disease. Also, GMO varieties of pollen is also killing them in droves. So, unless people find a way to keep bees alive through all this there won't be any. So, a good start appears to be bee keeping in cities where plants are less likely to be sprayed with insecticides or herbicides because cities aren't in farming areas where herbicides and pesticides are used as much.
