Median household income - Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia

The Highest disposable income in the world was the United States in 2007. However, I don't know what it is today in 2013.

If my understanding of disposable income is correct what it means is the amount of money a culture or individual has after paying for food, clothing, shelter, transportation. In other words how much money on average is left over after spending for your basic survival needs as an individual or culture or country?
