I think this won't be the last person from the western world that ISIS beheads. They are getting attention from this and this is what they want. As strange as it might sound this brings recruits that are sick enough mentally and emotionally to want to participate in this.
However, I think we need to get used to the fact that more hostages will be taken and killed because this is what they do. What will happen to the world's sensibilities? They will change in reaction to this kind of thing just like they changed in reaction to Osama Bin Laden and 2001 with 9-11 and people jumping off the Twin towers rather than be burned alive. (It is much less painful to jump off a building than to burn up) so this is what many did that day.
The world is changing but not in a good way. I still think this is indirectly related at this point to Russia supporting Assad against the Majority Sunnis. However, it didn't end there and likely no one is going to be able to put the genie back in the bottle now that it has been released by Russia, Iran and Assad.
God Help the World!
To the best of my ability I write about my experience of the Universe Past, Present and Future
