Prince Charles Fears Being Poisoned, Former Personal Chef Reveals

The problem is I believe that Prince Charles is very ecologically progressive and many Business people might not want him to be King because of that. And Queen Elizabeth has now been Queen since the 1950s and likely is the longest single reigning monarch ever on the English Throne. In 2016 for example, she will be 90.

Prince Charles and Palace Officials Fear Prince Will be Poisoned, Former Personal Chef Reveals

A former personal chef for Prince Charles says that the prince is a good man but that he and Palace officials were paranoid that the prince could get poisoned.
So paranoid, in fact, that a dedicated secret service agent spent most of his time watching over the chef in the kitchen.
Michelin Star chef Atul Kochhar says that the personal minder watched his every move as he prepared dishes for the prince.
Atul, 45, revealed the situation behind the scenes during an appearance on C4′s Weekend Kitchen, a source told the Daily Mirror.
“Prince Charles has never complained, in fact he is a gentleman and always eats everything he is served and says thank you to you when you meet him, he was very gracious and complimented me,” Atul said.
“But actually when you are cooking there is a secret service person watching you at all times which is a really off-putting.”
“Atul has always found it a real honour to cook for royalty but it just shows how much pressure there is on the catering staff not only to provide good food, but to make sure he doesn’t get ill,” the source said.
“It sounds like something out of medieval times when food tasters were employed to check for deadly substances before royalty could touch it.”
Meanwhile, Charles took the time recently to make amends with Alex Salmond.
Their differences reportedly stemmed from Salmond trying to get into Nelson Mandela’s funeral through Charles.
The pair had a “private meeting” at Birkhall, reported the Telegraph. Both sides aren’t commenting on what took place but a source described the encounter as “convival.”
