The top articles you see at this site at the very top of the page are the top 5 articles read in the last 30 days at this site. Then you have the top ten most well read article since Fall 2007 when I first started this site to the far left that says something like "Top Ten most popular posts". However, these are articles that could be up to 7 years old that people still tend to read a lot for some reason.
In the end it is a mystery to me what people choose to read or not. As someone who has a blog site I figure it is my privilege and duty to try to give people more of what they want to read as long as I am interested in doing that.
However, the dynamic appears to be like this: someone sees something and shares it with a friend. Then that friend might share it with more people and some articles sort of take off and hundreds or even thousands of people share that article or series of pictures or whatever it is. This is what appears to happen. However, it is also impossible to predict what articles will do that. It is one of the many interesting things for me in maintaining this blog site since fall 2007 for all of you around the world who read here at this site.
To the best of my ability I write about my experience of the Universe Past, Present and Future
