Novato for those of you who aren't familiar with Northern California is near San Rafael which is north of San Francisco and Berkeley about 1/2 hour or more if you either drive up 101 from the San Francisco Side which goes across the Golden Gate Bridge or 880 which feeds into 580 which goes across the Richmond San Rafael Bridge which is a pretty long bridge from the Berkeley side of the San Francisco bay over towards San Rafael and interfaces with 101 heading northwards up towards Santa Rosa, and eventually Eureka and Crescent City and then the Oregon Border.
Anyway, about 11 pm last night it started raining cats and dogs there and when we headed south along 880 to Avoid San Francisco Traffic it rained pretty much the whole way we were traveling all afternoon.
So, now I was looking at the weather radar map and now the worst of the storm coming off the ocean "Another Pineapple express from the Hawaii area" is hitting from about San Luis obispo down to Santa Barbara and Ventura and possibly points south.
To the best of my ability I write about my experience of the Universe Past, Present and Future
