As I was at beach 69 of the Hapuna Beach area at the northern part of the big Island of Hawaii, I noticed how the ocean has risen by the dead large trees that have been claimed by the sea as it rose over the years from when I was there last in 1974. There was one huge tree that was dead but very beautiful in the way it interfaced with the ocean with all the bark off it and now smooth grey wood from being exposed to the wind and waves so long. So, I walked up to it and sat upon it's limbs like a seat and later hung my clothes on it to keep them from getting sand on them or getting them wet. I later put my boogie board (that I purchased for only about 26 dollars at Costco) pretty good deal. So, it isn't just food and gas that is the most reasonable there. I put my boogie board on one of the branches too to keep the sand from getting on it after I finished boogie boarding then. Later I walked up and washed it off with one of the three shower heads available near the bathrooms there at beach 69.
However, as I looked up and down the coast there I also noticed that this tree was one of many overtaken by rising sea levels and storms since 1974 as well. I could even see where the sea water was beginning to kill the foliage of more trees as it continues to rise by the change in color of the trees leaves as I looked up the coast towards the peninsula that heads towards the main Hapuna Beach where many many people were there. At the main beach it now costs $5 to park there all day if you wish or if you don't wish you can park outside the car park and walk in about 1/4 mile to the beach.
To the best of my ability I write about my experience of the Universe Past, Present and Future
