cell mutation often causes cancer
I was doing some research after quoting and commenting on the above article. However, as I was doing research I also came across the following youtube videos that actually seem to indicate that scientists now believe we are in the process of Geomagnetic Reversal. However, my point of view as a layman is that we also could be in the process of Geomagnetic Excursion which is much more frequent than reversals so I think that is more likely. However, scientists seem to agree this is the cause now of the 20 to 25% reduction in the Magnetosphere's protection of our DNA from mutation over the last about 15 years. This reduction is increasing alarmingly also. However, I don't think freaking out about it is useful because we all are alive and most of us don't have cancer. Also, life on earth survived all the Geomagnetic excursions and reversals before or there wouldn't be any life on earth now at all likely. However, mutations (some good and some bad in all life forms likely is inevitable during the next 100 to 1000 to 10,000 years during this excursion or reversal.

Also, if you are concerned about the 20 to 25% reduction in the Magnetosphere which protects DNA life from mutations caused by cosmic rays and other stuff coming in then just live underground. I think if you are over 5 feet below the earth or 10 you likely won't get any mutating rays. By at least sleeping underground this would likely reduce your exposure by 1/3. This also likely would reduce your energy footprint because most places underground below about 6 feet deep stay around 60 to 65 degrees year around so heating and cooling is much easier to achieve. Also, deep water creatures tend not to be influenced by Cosmic rays because they can only reach so far underwater. So, the deeper creatures in the oceans likely are the way they have been the longest. The most mutations are creatures like humans that run around or fly around on or over the surface of the earth.
