The Syrian branch of al-Qaeda, the al-Nusra Front, has destroyed a 13th century tomb of a revered Islamic scholar in southern Syria, a group monitoring the violence has said. The Syrian Observatory for Human Rights said on Wednesday, the mausoleum of Imam Nawawi in Nawa, near the Jordanian border, had been destroyed by the armed group. The Syrian government's Islamic endowments ministry, which has lost control of much of Deraa province to rebel groups, condemned the bombing as an attack on the "country's history and heritage". In a report published in late December, the UN said 290 sites across the country had been directly affected by fighting, of which 24 had been destroyed, 104 severely damaged, 85 moderately damaged and 77 possibly damaged. Groups like ISIL are going to destroy Muslim, Christian and Jewish and ALL spiritual sites that have been there for thousands of years now. I won't be at all surprised at this point if Mecca and Jerusalem were destroyed completely at some point too. There is a level of drugged PTSD going on now that defies belief in the MIDDLE EAST. This is INSANITY in all CAPS. This is the end of civilization completely wherever ISIL goes now or a return to a time before the 14th to 12th Century when everyone was a serf and most were killed or turned into slaves.  The only thing to come out of all this is the depopulation of the Middle East and maybe something like North Korea as the ISlamic state if the world is really unlucky now. I don't see anything going on there that is anything good for civilization at all. So, unless you are into complete world depopulation or nuking the world completely out of existence there just isn't anything worthwhile at all going on in areas controlled by ISIL. The kidnapping and beheading is an example of this of the ISlamic state religious police for punishing people for smoking while allowing the sale and rape and impregnation of women from various cultures. What kind of insanity is this? I don't think things have gotten this crazy in any country since North Korea began in the 1950s.
