This might be an odd way to put it but what I came up with today is this:
"If you feel you have to kill anyone who does not share your beliefs then likely you are an extremist"
However, then this gets tricky. Because, for example, as an American (one of over 300 million) I demand certain rights and if anyone interferes with those rights I advocate along with most of the 300 million ending those people's lives. IN other words anyone who interferes with "Life, Liberty and the pursuit of happiness".
However, does that make Americans extremists?
Or does that make those that oppose us extremists?
So, extremism is about people who upset the status quo by killing people at this point.
So, I guess you could call anyone who upsets the status quo an extremist.
However, it is also true that at one time American Patriots during the Revolutionary War would have been called extremists by many in the world.
So, to be an extremist for a good cause might be important at times.
However, if you want to kill 3/4 of the world or more because they don't share your beliefs then the likelihood is soon you will be dead at the hands of one of those 3/4 of the world.
To the best of my ability I write about my experience of the Universe Past, Present and Future
